General Description: The downtown hotel is a modern hotel housed in a shopping and recreation complicated in the centre of gozo's capital, adjacent to the sports centre and 750 metres from the city's historic citadel. The 40 guestrooms all extend to balconies with town or country views and feature summery decor and dark pine furniture. All include internet connections, televisions, direct-dial phones, minibars, sofabeds and complimentary bottled water. Guests can enjoy freshly baked rolls, pastries and sweets in the hotel's café, while the wine bar offers a selection of local and foreign wines. The downtown restaurant offers a buffet and an a la carte menu of italian and mediterranean fare, such as pasta, pizza and antipasti, served in a typically relaxed gozitan setting. A children's buffet is also available. The onsite shopping centre specialises in men's, women's and children's clothing, and also offers shoes, perfumes, fashion accessories and gifts.
