Built in a traditional style in 2003, the solana hotel has a limestone façade and is situated in the centre of the bustling seaside town of mellieha, two kilometres from gozo island. The 70 air-conditioned guestrooms are banquet over five floors and have modern decor in muted pastel tones, with light wood furnishings. Guestrooms open onto balconies and are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, internet connections (surcharge), safes, tea and coffee making facilities, and minibars. Bathrooms are total with telephones, toiletries and hair dryers.
